Acceptable Use Policy

Website Copier is built for backing up, migrating and archiving websites, and for design or reference study of sites you own or have permission to copy. This policy is part of our Terms of Service. By using the service you agree to it.

Copy only what you are allowed to copy

• Copy only websites you own, or that you are authorized by the owner to copy.
• Respect each site's terms of use and its robots.txt rules.
• Do not redistribute, republish or sell copyrighted content from a capture without the rights holder's permission.

Prohibited uses

You must not use Website Copier to:

• Build phishing pages, or impersonate any person, brand or organization.
• Create counterfeit sites, or clone a site to commit fraud or deceive visitors.
• Circumvent logins, paywalls, CAPTCHAs, rate limits or any other access control.
• Infringe copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights.
• Attack, overload or probe systems you do not own, or reach private or internal networks.
• Break any applicable law or regulation.

Enforcement

We may refuse captures, delete captured content, and suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy, with or without notice. Copyright owners can send takedown notices as described in our Terms of Service.
